Co-founder and Financial Adviser at Fortem Group, Tim holds a degree in Marketing and an Advanced Diploma Financial Services (Financial Planning). With a strong background in wealth management within corporate and commercial banking teams in Melbourne and regional Victoria, Tim has spent the majority of his career providing tailored advice andsolutions to business owners and successful professionals.Tim specialises in advice relating to investments, superannuation (including SMSFs), retirement planning and personal insurance.
Gerard HoranDirector (Finance)
A Fortem Group co-founder, Gerard has extensive experience in personal and commercial lending within the business and corporate banking sectors. Gerard’s in-depth knowledge of finance processes and the banking system, honed over many years working as a relationship manager for the major banks, enables him to expertly guide his clients through the increasingly fast moving and complex Australian lending environment. Whether it’s equipment finance, debt strategy or commercial lending Gerard can provide advice and support to ensure clients have the very best facility for their needs.
Lisa WillsDirector (Business Solutions)
A Director and co-founder of Fortem Group, Lisa has over 15 years experience in business management and accounting. Lisa began her career as a bookkeeper, completing a Bachelor of Business and becoming a Chartered Accountant whilst working in public practice for WHK Horwath in Melbourne. Prior to establishing Fortem Group, Lisa worked as CFO and Executive Director of a large civil and mining construction company, leading a team of six and controlling all facets of group reporting, finance and cashflow management. Her detailed, hands-on experience positions Lisa well to provide clients with specialist advice on strategic business planning and structuring while ensuring everything is in place to meet current business requirements.
Ashlee MudgeClient Services Manager (Advice)
Ashlee has been working in the Financial Industry since 2009. During her career she has occupied various roles including client support, engagement and specialty roles. Spending time with clients to fully understand their goals, objectives and requirements enables her to provide high quality service and build strong professional relationships.
Lauren AmorAccountant (Business Solutions)
Lauren joined Fortem Group in 2016 in our Business Solutions area. A Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business and over seven years experience in Audit and Assurance, Lauren has spent most of her career working with small to medium entities in the manufacturing, banking and government sectors. Prior to taking up her role with Fortem Group Lauren made the move to industry, working as the Financial Accountant for a large grain procurement, logistics and stockfeed manufacturing company. Lauren has extensive knowledge of policy and procedure and a detailed understanding of day-to- day business operations.
Josh McKeeFinance Broker (Finance)
Josh is a qualified mortgage and financial broker experienced in consumer lending, small business lending and asset finance. With a background in customer service, consumer lending and client management roles for Bendigo Bank, Josh spent time working for the foreign exchange before moving into broking and joining Fortem Group in 2017. Josh is able to provide clients with access to a wide range of products, regardless of whether they’re in the market for a new home, a new car or an asset for their business.
Tahlia HolmbergAdmin & Marketing Manager (Group)
Tahlia oversees bookkeeping, accounts and administration support for all Fortem Group clients. Tahlia has a strong background in accounts payable and receivable. Prior to joining Fortem Group she was responsible for the administration of up to 600 supplier accounts and account reconciliations. With a Certificate III in Business Administration and a great eye for detail Tahlia delivers exceptional service and support.
Kristy MouldayAccountant (Business Solutions)
Kristy is a qualified CPA and a SMSF Specialist Advisor. Growing up in regional Victoria Kristy was keen to return to the country after completing her Bachelor Business (Accountancy) in Melbourne. She joined a small Bendigo accounting practice 15 years ago, gaining valuable experience working on Self Managed Super Funds (SMSF), administering over 100 SMSFs for the practice’s large farming client base. Kristy joined Fortem Group in late 2017 where she provides clients with professional support with compliance, reporting, SMSFs and other ongoing business needs.
Jessica has a Certificate II in Business and over ten years experience in administration and executive assistant roles in accountancy firms in regional Victoria and Melbourne. Jessica joined Fortem Group in 2017 and is the first point of contact when clients visit our Bendigo office. She handles our secretarial requirements, manages our database and ensures our client’s receive the very best professional service.
